Specially designed Cable Carriers mounted Maeslantkering
Specially designed cable carriers are mounted on the Measlant barrier. These Cable Carriers, built entirely of seawater-resistant stainless steel, are located on both the north dock door and the south dock door. Before installation, the complex cable package could not be detached so the two Cable Carriers were built around the cables on site. The whole operation also had to take place within a relatively short timeframe due to the water level in the New Waterway.
Preventive maintenance is also entrusted to us.
