Calculate fill level.Does everything fit, with room to spare?

Cables and hoses need room to move freely. Enter your cable package and see the minimum inner height and width, and with the dimensions of a carrier how full it gets.

Your cable package

Inner dimensions of the carrier (optional)

Result

Minimum inner height

13,2 mm

Minimum inner width (everything side by side)

61,6 mm

Lay it out with ChainLogic

We email you the result, to keep or forward. See our privacy statement.

The calculation rule

Fill level = Σ π·(d_eff/2)² / (Bi × Hi)

Cables get 10% clearance, hoses 20%. Minimum inner height is the thickest effective diameter, minimum inner width the sum of all effective diameters. Below 85% is good, 85 to 90% is tight, above that too full.

We use the same rules in the cable carrier configurator and ChainLogic. A result is an indicative value; we check every choice free of charge.
