Maintenance
Wear parts replaceable separately

The protective hose is the heart of a dress pack. Everything that goes to the tool, welding current, air, cooling water, signal and data, runs through it and moves with the robot.

Reiku makes the hoses from strong, impact-resistant plastics that show little wear from rubbing and scratching. The most heavily loaded points get wear parts that you replace without renewing the whole pack.

Which hose suits depends on the movement, the environment and what has to go through it. We select the series and size for your robot and combine the hose with the right holders and a retraction system.

Which protective hose fits?

Choose the application and enter the diameter of your cable bundle. You immediately see which series fit and the smallest size the bundle fits in. Data from the Reiku product catalogue.

Application

Measure the bundle at its thickest point. Does the hose also need to fit over a plug, or do you want room for movement? Ask us and we will help choose the size.

Where it sits on the robot

A dress pack consists of hose, holders per axis and a retraction system. The highlighted part shows where this component sits; the other components link on.

Why

What makes protective hoses for robots strong

01Wear-resistant
Impact-resistant plastics that show little wear from rubbing and scratching.
02Wear parts
Heavily loaded points get a wear part that you replace separately.
03One system
Hose, clamps, ball joints and retraction fit together.
04For every environment
Conductive versions too; for heat, can be combined with heat protection.

How to choose

What to look out for when choosing

Not sure? Send us your details and we'll calculate it for you free of charge.

  1. 01What has to go through

The number and diameter of cables and hoses determine the inner dimension.

  2. 02Movement

Heavy torsion and small radii call for a more flexible series.

  3. 03Environment

Weld spatter, heat or static charge determine the material and additional protection.

  4. 04Holders and retraction

The size of the hose determines which clamps and which retraction system fit.
