What we check at every inspection
Every inspection follows the same four groups, so reports can be compared from round to round.
The cable carrier: links and side parts for cracks, breakage or discolouration, play in the links, the crossbars, whether the carrier bends evenly through the radius, the end connections at the fixed point and driver, and the separators and shelves.
The guidance: glide shoes and sliding surfaces, the alignment and fixing of the guide channel, and whether the upper run moves as intended, self-supporting or gliding.
The cables and hoses: whether they lie straight without torsion, do not creep out of the carrier, are secured in the strain relief, follow the radius without kinking, have an intact jacket and do not cross. Finally the environment and operation: contamination, noise and whether the carrier runs smoothly over the whole travel.
