What is the difference from a cable entry plate?

An entry plate is a fixed plate with membranes for cables without a connector and is more economical. A frame is split and suitable for cables with a connector.

Which cable entry frames does Wisman supply?

From Icotek the KEL series (including KEL-ERM, KEL-ER, KEL-U, KEL-FA, KEL-QUICK, KEL-FG and KEL-JUMBO) and from Detas Ultra the DES frames. Both are split and suitable for cables with connectors.

Which cable grommets go in a KEL frame?

Icotek KEL frames take KT cable grommets, and for multiple diameters per grommet the KTMB and KTMBS. We select the grommets based on your cable list.

A cable entry frame bundles all cables that have to enter a cabinet in one rectangular cut-out. It is split, so cables with a connector simply drop in. With cable grommets per cable the whole is sealed and every cable gets strain relief.

Cable entry frames

For: Cables with and without connector, Ø 2 to 35 mm

The frame consists of a split housing in which you place entry rubbers freely: single, double, quadruple or as a break-through blind rubber for later. After closing, the frame clamps the rubbers in place. This gives a seal against dust and water and strain relief on every cable at the same time.

From Icotek we supply the KEL series: KEL-ERM and KEL-ER up to IP66, KEL-U and KEL-E, the tool-free KEL-FA and KEL-QUICK, the angled KEL-FG and KEL-FG-ER, and KEL 183 and KEL-JUMBO for cables up to 75 mm. They fit standard cut-outs for 10, 16 and 24-pin industrial connectors and are filled with KT cable grommets.
